Olha Shypelyk
My name is Olha Shypelyk. I am a Ukrainian artist and the founder of the creative space Golden Space.
My artistic journey began during the full-scale war in Ukraine. In 2022, my desire to support my country inspired me to create my first paintings for charity auctions. Since then, art has become not only my profession but also an essential part of my mission.
Since 2022, I have created more than 225 paintings that have been donated to charity auctions in Ukraine and abroad. More than 20 exhibitions have been organized. My artworks have been exhibited in Ukraine, Germany, France, and Singapore, and have become part of private collections owned by prominent public, political, and spiritual leaders, including the Pope, Cardinals of the Catholic Church, and the President of Ukraine.
In my work, I combine contemporary painting, spiritual symbolism, and my own artistic technique incorporating gold leaf. Through symbols, light, and texture, I explore themes of faith, cultural memory, inner strength, and the legacy of generations.
My artworks are a dialogue between the past and the present, between the visible and the invisible, between outward appearance and the inner world of a person. Each painting is created by hand and is intended not only to decorate a space but also to fill it with meaning, light, and a sense of peace.
The ultimate goal of my creative work is the establishment of the “Vineyard” Spiritual and Cultural Center — a place of faith, education, personal development, and support for orphaned children. Every painting represents another step toward making this vision a reality and an opportunity to transform art into a source of goodness, hope, and positive change.

I work with acrylic and oil paints, enhancing my creations with gold leaf (23.75–24 carats) or metallic foil, which adds a touch of refined radiance.
